Andrea Alonso Romero

Predoctoral researcher

As a predoctoral researcher in the 3D-MetJet project, Andrea Alonso Romero is dedicated to studying debinding and sintering in metal additive manufacturing by Metal Jetting. With an academic background and research experience in metals manufactured through powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing, she aims to advance this technology in a doctoral research environment. She studied Industrial Engineering at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and conducted research on high-entropy alloys fabricated via Selective Laser Melting at IMDEA Materials. She holds a Master in Material Science and Engineering from UC3M, where she developed high entropy alloys FeNiCoCrMo by Metal Injection Moulding, complemented by teaching laboratory classes in the Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering at her university.
